1 Cup butter
1 Cup white sugar
1 egg
2 2/3 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
Method
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg, vanilla and salt. Mix in flour.
Refrigerate dough for up to 1 hr. Spoon or press cookie dough unto cookie sheet about two inches apart. Bake in 400 F oven for 8 to 10 mins or until edges turn golden brown. Allow to cool and then remove to wire rack.
